An Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour at INSEAD, Askin researches social and cultural networks, the causes and consequences of social status, the production and consumption of music, and higher education. Interested in the social factors and conditions that influence creativity and drive popular consumption, his TED talk titled “The recipe of a hit song” explores how and why songs reach the top of the Billboard 100 charts.
