Ideas

In her 2024 book The Possible Self, Maja asks why career success does not necessarily bring whole-life fulfilment. She introduces a five-step transformational system called the Wheel of Change based on five parts of ourselves: Desires, Actions, Emotions, Thoughts, and Body. By understanding the mechanisms of these five integral parts, she asserts, we can escape the paradox of success-without-happiness and move towards self-fulfilment. Sustained change, Maja argues, can happen only when these five parts move in the same direction, at the same time.
