Ideas

There are scientific realities about how the human brain works but, argues Sahar, our current work culture is not in line with this reality. Her 10-plus years of research on “making superhumans” sheds light on how to improve focus, memory, and overall human performance, helping busy leaders get their most important work done in less time. Sahar’s training programs curate scientifically validated techniques and effective habit-forming systems to actively change the way people, teams, and organisations work.

Bio

Lecturer in the management of organisations at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, Sahar is also the founder and managing director of Becoming Superhuman, a productivity training and consulting firm. She has worked as a strategy consultant, product manager, and UX researcher. Sahar received her PhD and BA in cognitive neuroscience from the University of California Berkeley.

Content

Sahar’s work has been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, and Business Insider. ‘How This Cognitive Neuroscientist Uses Science to Increase Work Efficiency’ (by Cheryl Robinson, Forbes, October 2019); ‘Music on My Mind’ Series with John Legend and Headspace’ (YouTube); ‘Becoming Superhuman: the neuroscience of Peak Performance’ (Flow Radio, May 2022).
