Sebastian Krakowski’s research focuses on the interplay of digital technology and organisational strategy, particularly the wide array of technologies collectively referred to as artificial intelligence (AI). His work draws on behavioural perspectives to explore how humans and AI interact and cooperate in organisational decision making, with a particular focus on what leads to the adoption of the technology and which factors contribute to its successful implementation. His current projects explore organisational contexts where AI is used to automate or augment human judgment in complex decision making.
