Research addresses questions such as “How can employees be motivated?”, “How is performance measurement used in public hospitals?” and “Which factors affect the ethical behaviour of employees?” Draws on ideas from accounting, psychology, organization studies and philosophy.

BIO
Studied accounting (BSc, MSc), business administration (MSc) and philosophy (BA) at the University of Groningen, where he also defended his PhD thesis in 2016. Has held visiting positions at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Sydney.
