Ideas

Hitendra Wadhwa brings a mathematician’s rigour and a truth-seeker’s spirit to today’s most vexing questions about authenticity, success, leadership, and human potential. His article in the Harvard Business Review, ‘Leading in the Flow of Work’, shows how performance breakthroughs at work can be accelerated by approaching leadership as a state, not a trait, a model based on Hitendra’s 15-year journey into researching and teaching scientific principles of success in life and leadership at Columbia Business School and the Mentora Institute.

Bio

Hitendra has been professor of practice at Columbia Business School since 2004, where he has been researching, codifying, and teaching leadership. He recently shifted to an adjunct professor role to focus on building his organisation, Mentora Institute. His 2022 book, Inner Mastery, Outer Impact, focuses on inner mastery as the foundation for high performance and exemplary leadership. And his cover-story HBR article (Jan-Feb 2024) on ‘Leading in the Flow of Work’ delivers a fresh approach to leadership, tailored for success in today’s fast-changing and complex times.
