Everyone is talking about millennials. And why not? Depending on where you start the generation, millennials are either the largest generation in the workforce today or soon will be. So it’s obvious why a growing share of the consulting market is dedicated to teaching employers what’s different about millennial employees and how companies should adjust because of these differences. What’s far less obvious is why, inside of this growing segment, so many myths and misconceptions about millennials persist. You might have even spread some. You know the one about the entitled, lazy, narcissistic job-hopper millennials, right?
Well, it turns out, very few of those qualities are generational…and most generations suffered through the same stereotypes.
