Dolly Chugh helps people and organizations bridge the gap between the people and bosses they are and who they aspire to be. A behavioral scientist, she studies the psychology of good people and good bosses, offering practical tools in an accessible and evidence-based voice. Her first two books, The Person You Mean to Be and A More Just Future, provide actionable insights on becoming a better leader, colleague, and citizen.  Her next book, The Good Boss Project, will center on the sacred work, unexpected benefits, and essential tools of being a good boss (Simon & Schuster Acumen, 2027).

Bio

A leading expert in leadership, bias, and inclusion, Dolly Chugh is the Jacob B. Melnick Term Professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where she teaches MBA courses on leadership and management. She is also the Faculty Director of the NYU Stern Leadership Accelerator. Her research has been recognized with the Academy of Management Journal Best Paper Award and SPSP Fellow recognition, and she has been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by Ethisphere Magazine. In addition to her academic work, she teaches in the NYU Prison Education Program. Before academia, Dolly worked at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Sibson & Company, Scholastic, and Time Inc.  She earned her MBA and PhD from Harvard Business School.
