Ideas

Working at the intersection of sustainability and investor value, Todd applies a scientific and economic lens to corporate social and environmental responsibility. His current research focuses on the barriers to moving capital to more sustainable investments, including working on metrics and standards for measuring the environmental impacts of fixed income products; metrics and the underlying data for environmental, social and governance that drive corporate growth; and metrics for underwriting more sustainable insurance products. He also teaches and works with companies on best strategies for the integration of sustainability.

Bio

Todd is a senior lecturer in sustainability at the Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment. He is faculty co-director at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment and faculty co-director at the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance. Todd is also Principal at NPV Associates, which offers advisory services in sustainability and corporate responsibility. He serves on a variety of advisory boards including the JUST Capital Scientific Advisory Board, the PRIME Coalition Academic Advisory Committee, and Merck Sustainability Advisory Committee.
