International best-selling author and renowned business leadership expert Jim Collins is to make a one-off live speaking appearance in the UK for the first time in more than seven years.
Jim Collins – whose books including ‘Built to Last,’ ‘Good to Great’ and ‘How The Mighty Fall’ have collectively sold in excess of ten million copies worldwide – will cover his full body of work, across a quarter century of research, writing, and thinking about the question of what it takes to build an enduring, great company.
Driven by a relentless curiosity, Collins began his research and teaching career on the faculty at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he received the Distinguished Teaching Award in 1992. In 1995, he founded a management laboratory in Boulder, Colorado, where he conducts research and engages in Socratic dialogue with CEOs and senior leadership teams.
In addition to his writing and work in the business sector, Jim has passion for learning and teaching in the social sectors, including education, healthcare, government, faith-based organizations, social ventures, and cause-driven not-for-profit organisations.
The half-day ‘Jim Collins Live in London’ session will be framed around ‘Twelve Questions’, a highly effective sequence of questions developed and constructed by Collins that will serve as a mechanism of disciplined thought for business leaders and management teams alike.
