Ideas

Denise’s work reframes leadership as an organisational system rather than an individual style. She developed Systems of Capability, an integrated framework that connects strategy, technology, human capability, and collaboration to drive sustainable performance in complex industries such as energy, defence, and infrastructure. At its core is the Capability Stack, a visual architecture that links operating capability across workforce, operating model, enabling systems, and asset base directly to strategic intent. It enables organisations to measure and scale what truly creates value, with results demonstrated through efficiency gains, streamlined onboarding, and improved project mobilisation. Complemented by the SIS Model (Sustainability · Innovation · Skills), Denise’s approach embeds governance, ethics, and cognitive diversity into organisational design to ensure responsible innovation and inclusive growth.
