Thinkers50 Podcast: Detonate with Steve Goldbach

In this Brightline Initiative Podcast recorded in London, Stuart Crainer interviews Steve Goldbach, co-author of the book Detonate.  In the book, Goldbach observes that executives are very clear about their fears of disruption, and have done very little in the way of actually challenging orthodoxies within their organizations.

If executives want to really change the trajectory of their businesses, then it is necessary to do things differently and to figuratively “blow stuff up” rather than following the existing best practices – given that best practices are always in hindsight.

How then can you prevent your firm from being bound by mediocrity and limiting actions to those that are safe?  How can you approach your business with a beginner’s mind?  Is it possible to embrace impermanence?
