Thinkers50 Awards Gala 2023 Ambassadors

We are excited for you to join us at the Thinkers50 Awards Gala 2023 in celebration of the best business and management thinking in the world. This year’s event programme will include each of our valued Ambassadors. Learn more about them and their work here.

The Thinkers50 Gala is a celebration. In a general sense, I think it’s important to celebrate management and leadership ideas, but to have one evening that is the culmination of that just makes it fun. It’s a chance to raise a glass to the hard work people do every day to move the needle for positive change.

Dorie Clark

Dorie Clark is a 2021 and 2019 Ranked Thinker, both of which years she was also shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Talent Award. She is an Executive Education Faculty member at Columbia Business School, marketing strategy consultant, and branding expert. She is also an award-winning journalist, contributor to the Harvard Business Review, host of the podcast Better, and the author of several books, including ‘The Long Game: How to Be a Long-Term Thinker in a Short-Term World,’ published in 2021.

Life has the gift of exclamation points–extraordinary moments of meaning that deeply connect, energize, and ignite ideas, passions, and people. The Thinkers50 Gala is one of those exclamation points!

Julie Carrier

Julie Carrier is a member of the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2022, and was shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Coaching and Mentoring Award in 2021 for her work as a trailblazer in the field of young women’s leadership. She is the founder of the Leadership Development Institute for Young Women, developing the world’s first evidence-based, academic, applied-neuroscience leadership and coaching curriculum for high schools. She is an acclaimed coach, speaker, and the author of ‘Girls Lead.’

At a point in time where previous understandings of ‘good’ leadership are rapidly becoming insufficient, if not obsolete, the ability to stimulate and provoke thinking is of fundamental importance. But this isn’t an activity that can be done alone – it requires collective work, in community. To me, that is what Thinkers50 is all about.

Megan Reitz

Megan Reitz is a Thinkers50 2021 Ranked Thinker, a member of the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2018, was shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Radar Award in 2019, and co-hosted the virtual Thinkers50 Awards Gala 2021. She is a Professor of Leadership and Dialogue at Hult International Business School, where her research focuses on speaking truth to power, employee activism, and mindfulness. She is the author of several books, including her most recent publication with John Higgins, ‘Speak Up.’

What I always look forward to from the Thinkers50 Community is being exposed to so many different ideas from such a diverse group of people; a Community that comes at large, global problems from all angles, who collectively and in solidarity can build a future that works for all.

Ruchika Tulshyan

Ruchika Tulshyan is a member of the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2019 and was shortlisted for the 2019 Radar Award. She is an inclusion strategist, speaker, and the CEO and founder of Candour, which works with organisations to create diverse teams and inclusive cultures. She is the author of several books, including the recent ‘Inclusion on Purpose’ and also regularly writes for Harvard Business Review, where she has co-authored one of their top 100 most read articles in history, ‘Stop Telling Women They Have Imposter Syndrome.’

Have you heard the saying, “If you’re the most interesting person in the room, go find another room”? That doesn’t happen at Thinkers50. You’re never the most interesting person in the room, and that’s what I love about it – I can always learn something new.

Ruth Gotian

Ruth Gotian is a member of the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2021 and was the recipient of the Thinkers50 2021 Radar Award. She is the chief learning officer and associate professor of education in anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her research on what makes the world’s most extraordinary achievers reach peak success and performance is distilled in her recent book, The Success Factor, and in addition to publishing in academic journals, she is also a contributor to Forbes and Psychology Today.

The power of Thinkers50 draws on what I find to be the most necessary to create impact today; Curation, connection, and co-creation. When put together, you can unlock possibilities and make the world an even better place.

Sanyin Siang

Sanyin Siang is a Thinkers50 2021 Ranked Thinker, recipient of the 2019 Coaching and Mentoring Award, and member of the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2018. She is a CEO coach, investor, leadership advisor, and author of ‘The Launch Book.’ She is a professor at Duke University and leads the Coach K Leadership & Ethics Center at its Fuqua School of Business. Her work focuses on unleashing individual and collective superpowers – those innate and instinctive talents that create inimitable advantages and contributions to the world.
