Ideas

Why do so many innovation initiatives fail to come to fruition? Why does only one in every 50,000 incubated ideas reach USD1 million in sales? Many leaders blame lack of big ideas within their organisation. However, Robyn contends that innovation failures are not an ideas problem; the problem lies with leadership. In her 2025 book, Unlocking Innovation, Robyn sets out her ABCs of Innovation framework, a holistic model consisting of Architecture (provides the governance to facilitate design, development, and launch); Behaviour (the mindsets required for innovation success); and Culture (the connections and stories that encourage growth).
